    Book Description

This book gives a complete opening repertoire. The main system is the Torre Attack 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 or 1.d4 d5 2.Nf3 followed by Bg5. Then you are taught how to meet the Nimzo-Indian, King's Indian, Pirc/Old Indian, Benoni, and Dutch Defenses. This opening is very solid and easy to learn and the non-professional players will find it very handy. However, it is a very powerful opening and has been employed by such chess superstars as Korchnoi, Kasparov, Timman, Petrosian, Bronstein, Yusupov, Keres, Smyslov, and Spassky! Most importantly, this book consists of more than just variations, but 100 deeply annotated complete games as well.

The MSRP of this book is $17.50

    • A Practical White Repertoire with 1. d4 & 2. c4 - VOL. 3
      The Nimzo-Indian and Other Defences
"The final volume consists of five parts. In the first part we analyse some seldom played moves for Black. The second part of the book is devoted to the Dutch Defence. In the third part we deal with the different defences for Black after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4, besides 2...c5 and 2...e6. In the fourth part we analyse the Benoni Defence and the Benko Gambit. Finally, in the fifth part of the book, we deal with Black's most reliable opening - the Nimzo-Indian Defence. In this volume, just like in the previous two, we have emphasized on reliability and rationality in our choice of systems for White. For example, against the Dutch Defence we have preferred the move 2.Nc3, with which White reduces Black's possibilities considerably. Against the Nimzo-Indian Defence we analyse theRubinstein System - 4.e3, followed by Nge2, in which White's first task is to avoid compromising of his pawn-structure."

The Marshall Attack is a chess opening like no other. Rather than subjecting himself to the 'Spanish torture' so typical in the Ruy Lopez, Black simply gives away a centre pawn. But in return, he gets long-term attacking chances and activity that can persist well into the endgame.

    • EBOOK - Starting Out - Dutch Defence
The Dutch Defence is an ambitious and underrated counter to the queen's pawn opening. With his very first move Black creates an asymmetrical pawn structure, thus unbalancing the position from a very early stage and allowing both White and Black players to fight for the initiative. Black also has many options within the Dutch Defence, from the ultra-solid Stonewall formation through to the fluid Classical System and the dynamic Leningrad Variation.
