School of Elementary Tactics

Martin Weteschnik has made a name for himself as an author of several books on chess tactics. His first CD consists of two parts. In the first database he dwells on his theories on tactics, while the second database he makes use of the advantages of a modern database program, above all the function training question - a test makes the theoretically schooled user ready for practice. In both databases, the author has used the modern techniques of audio and videoclips. Here is an extract from the introduction to "The School of Elementary Tactics": "What constitutes a combination? Which parts are actually ?combined'? These are the elements - the tactical elements and motifs - that are combined. To show and explain them is subject of this CD. For the first time you will find the tactical motifs explained down to their primary parts. This will give you a real profound comprehension to utilise and work with these elements! Naturally you will be able to use the motifs thereafter much more effectively, as if you would exercise to solve combinations solely. Or do you think one should try to write a novel before learning the letters, the words and the grammar?!

Computer Software and DVDs can only be returned or exchanged if the product is in its original, shrinkwrapped packaging and has not been installed or used in any way. Once you open the packaging of a Computer Software or DVD title, it can only be exchanged for the same title if the original media is defective. There are NO exceptions to this rule.

Computer Software and DVDs that come on Physical Media (such as CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMS)  can only be returned or exchanged if the product is in its original, shrinkwrapped packaging and has not been installed or used in any way. Once you open the packaging of a Computer Software or DVD title, it can only be exchanged for a new copy of the same title and only if the original media is defective. There are NO exceptions to this rule.
