Boris Spassky - 10th World Champion
The meteoric tempo with which the young Tal took the world top by storm at the end of the 50s and seized the world champion's title from Botvinnik in 1960 is already sufficient to grant him a special place in the world of chess.
Includes 1300 annotated games played by the 4th World Champion Alexander Alekhine. These annotations of Alekhine and his contemporaries have been revised and enlarged.
