The Chess pieces are heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish. As with all of our Chess sets, the Classic Series Chessmen exemplifies a perfect combination of distinct beauty and functionality. The Chessmen are new and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard that was introduced by The House of Staunton over 10 years ago.

The Chessboard

The Chessmen are new and come housed in a Classical Tiroir Display Chessboard that features two drawers with individual compartments for piece storage. The House of Staunton logo is silk screened on the h1 square. The Chessboard has 1.75" Squares and features Walnut (dark) and Maple (light) squares with a Cherry frame. The Classical Tiroir Display Chessboard has an overall size of 17.5" x 17.5" x 4.5" and has a satin finish.

Computer Software and DVDs that come on Physical Media (such as CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMS)  can only be returned or exchanged if the product is in its original, shrinkwrapped packaging and has not been installed or used in any way. Once you open the packaging of a Computer Software or DVD title, it can only be exchanged for a new copy of the same title and only if the original media is defective. There are NO exceptions to this rule.
