CLEARANCE - Carton Pierre Reproduction Antique Chess Board
This is an incredibly accurate reproduction of the antique chess boards which were used as the playing surface by William Leuchars in 1849 for their new Carton-Pierre chess boards. Like the original, our reproduction chess board has 2.25″ Bone and Red colored squares, but it does not come with the carton-pierre back panels like the originals. It will accommodate Staunton chessmen with a 3.75" King, as well as larger Club-size pre-Staunton sets such as the Saint George, Lund, Calvert and Northern Upright designs.
